Kasaguadua is a Civil Society Natural Reserve and is registered with National Parks of Colombia under the number RNSC 0041-12.

Kasaguadua RNSC is part of the Departmental (and Municipal) System of Protected Areas (SIDAP and SIMAP), regulated and monitored by the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Quindío - CRQ.

Kasaguadua is associated with the Colombian Network of Civil Society Natural Reserves RESNATUR.
