HOW TO PREPARE

RECOMMENDATIONS

FOR YOUR VISIT

To make your experience comfortable and safe:

Clothing and Footwear

Closed shoes with good grip (hiking), light clothing but covering from the sun and branches. For the evening, a jacket (the forest is cool). At the entrance, we have rubber boots for most sizes.

Raincoat

It can always rain in the Andean forest. Bring a raincoat to enjoy the weather without worries.

Headlamp

At night there is no electric light on the trails. Your own lighting is essential for safe mobility.

Insect Repellent

Must be natural, preferably without harmful chemicals to protect the ecosystem.

Hydration

Bring a reusable water bottle. We have clean spring water for you to refill.

Sunscreen

Essential to protect your skin during day tours.

Attitude

Come with an open mind, a desire to learn, and deep respect for the forest.

What NOT to Bring

Noisy electronic equipment (nowhere to plug them in), unnecessary single-use plastics, mass tourism attitudes. Antibacterial products or antibiotics.
